Three Hundred Ninety-five Horses - fine art print
Somewhere off California’s highway 395 I encountered this band of curious creatures. An offered apple or two earned some fast friendship and we spent a delightful afternoon getting to know each other. On first glance I thought they were wild horses and mules but after some research found they are pack animals used for eastern Sierra excursions. They work through the Summer and take the Winter months off in the Owens Valley. I look for them on every drive of 395 in hopes of another visit.
Open Stock Prints available in Aluminum or Fuji Crystal Archive with choice of framed or loose presentation.
