Aerial photography brings my creativity to new heights.
The exhilaration of hanging out of a doors-off helicopter, banking sharply while capturing long familiar scenes with fresh eyes is as intoxicating as it is addictive. Additionally, advancement in drone technology has now delivered high resolution imagery that holds up to my exacting fine art standards while increasing airtime. From this vertical vantage point I seek out elements that are prevalent in my work; vivid colors, contrasts in tone and texture, bold lines and symmetry all abound.
